| The Pathetic Little Tale of the Boy Who Could Fly
Nicholas Ozment
When the boy who could fly discovered his talent, he did not become a superhero. Nor did he use the talent for any noble or poetic purpose. He soared high over a park and urinated on picnics and dog-walkers. Then, armed with binoculars, he flew over a nude beach. When he espied three young women sunbathing, he circled overhead and masturbated until semen sprinkled their bellies from the sky. The women looked up. They might have perceived a condor or another large bird flying away, crying like a savage lyricist.
Later, the boy who could fly was sucked into a jet engine.
