Atoms: The Core of All Matter

Australian born Martin Harris is an artist of storybook fantasy lands. His miniature scenes of whimsy are painted with the most awe-inspiring detail in soft-hued watercolors. Animals, critters and creatures animate colorful worlds of gentle humor. Harris has an intuitive interest in the symbolism of Tarot. The cultural symbolism in the toys he collects are reflective of totemic and Shamanistic images as found in nature. His art combines the surrealism of Mark Ryden, in a sense, with the innocence of Enid Blyton, spiced by the paw print of Godzilla!
